I loved it so much here. The staff were very friendly and kind. The cats were so adorable. All of them with their own unique personalities. I have cats of my own, so I was able to bond with them. It is beautiful to see that they have all their cats up for adoption and how you are able to play with the cats and get to know them. The environment was clean and welcoming. The cats looked very comfortable and happy. Some of them were even playing with each other! You can tell that they are taken care of very well and are loved by the staff and people who come by.

My 5 year old daughter and I absolutely LOVE this Cat Cafe!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a cat fix or to add one to their family!! All of the cats are always friendly and willing to play or get pets! I love how there is a mix of younger kittens and older cats. We love following their stories on Instagram! I also like that at the cafe there is merchandise to buy made by local artists. I leave feeling great about helping out cats in need and local artists! I highly recommend getting one of the jewelry surprise boxes!

bcb is such an amazing place to go and this is your sign to visit if you’ve never been! i’ve been coming here regularly for about two months now, and it’s so clear how much the staff cares about these sweet cats, and how well taken care of they are. the staff (made of mostly volunteers) are always willing to answer any questions you might have - and the owners are clearly super passionate and care about these cats and getting them into new homes! unlike other cat cafes, this one doesn’t smell, the cats have super distinct personalities, AND they have adult-only wednesday nights (highly recommend if u like dim lighting, seeing sleepy kitties, and avoiding loud noises). overall, bcb is amazing, they’re constantly rotating new cats in as the current ones get adopted to their new homes, so there’s always someone new to see, and they’re constantly offering activities with the kitties as well, so there’s always something new to do! BTW you can sponsor a cat for 25 a month if you don’t have the means to adopt - shout out my boy pogo! TLDR: bcb rules - go visit them asap and pet brock for me!!

I have been a long time visitor of Black Cat Beanery and cannot recommend going, *donating to*, and/or adopting from enough! Dave, Danielle, and all of their wonderful volunteers provide a Jackson-Galaxy-Approved safe and loving enrichment space for kitties to stay before finding their forever home. For the admission, you get a drink and snack of your choice, and an hour of playtime (or cuddles) with approximately 10-15ish kittens and cats who are all up for adoption. You can also purchase treats for a minimal fee to get extra attention. The space provides areas for cats to play and interact, as well as areas for cats to hide if they need a break. They frequently host other events (such as yoga, movie nights, adult only evenings, family friendly holiday events) that you can find on their website or mailing list. And if you are not ready to adopt, you can sponsor a cat of your choice and get fun text updates, or you can just frequently visit like I do for the huge serotonin boost.

We love the Beanery! We have been making regular visits to all the kitties since they opened and finally couldn’t leave without Xena and Holly. We loved working with Danielle, Dave and all the friendly folks at BCB. They gifted us a sweet sweatshirt upon our adoption.

We absolutely LOVE Black Cat Beanery!!! We adopted our two sweet cats from here, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The space is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up to make both the cats and visitors feel at home. You can really tell how much the staff care about every single kitty. They’re so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re looking to adopt or just want to relax with some kitty friends and a good cup of coffee, this place is truly a gem!

My spouse surprised me on my birthday with a visit to bcb and i couldn’t have enjoyed the experience more. The staff are very kind and you can tell they care for the cats. I love the little treats and everything they offer (gonna buy one of those snazzy hoodies my next visit.) I adore every single we played with, they were all so different with varying personalities. it was an amazing experience and we’ll be visiting many more times in the future, especially knowing the money goes directly to caring for the cats.

Absolutely LOVED! I’ve been to a few cafes across the U.S. and this one that is local and 30mins from home was the best! The ones I’ve been in seemed like you could “smell” the cats and was like you left smelling like it. This one smelled SO good as soon as you opened the door. 15/10 would recommend coming to see these kitties, even the spicy ones! Already planning the next trip!
